1 - Patrice Rushen - Anything Can Happen
Watch Out! is the 1987 album, her ninth, released by the r&b singer. In addition to remixes for the three singles, the 12'' had a non-album b-side, "Over the Phone". The previous year, she married Marc St. Louis, a concert tour manager and live show production specialist.

2 - Ray Dahrouge
Steppin’ Out is the first single off Rendezvous With Destiny, his first album in 1979 with Polydor. In the 60s, he was in the doo wop New Jersey group called Ray And The Darchaes and right after he was in the duo Terrell & Dahrouge with the producer Billy Terrell.

Bionic Funk is the only release of the aptly named Bionic Records from Burbank, California. The Mandrill drummer got his 22 Somerset Dr. (1976-1978) compilation in 2016 and the track was also present on Space Funk (Afro Futurist Electro Funk In Space 1976-84) with Soul Jazz Records.

He released his third solo album, Revelations, with the single "Neva Go Back" in 1995, with the track "Freaky Flow" receiving a remix by DJ Premier. Since the Pete Rock & CL Smooth split, the two managed to reconcile their differences only long enough to record seven tracks over the course of ten years, namely "Da Two," "Back On Da Block," "Shine On Me," "Climax," "Fly 'Til I Die," "Appreciate," and "It's A Love Thing."
