On August 15, 2016, unfortunately we learned about the death of jazz musician Bobby Hutcherson. From his album San Francisco, released with Blue Note in 1970, the track Ummh was sampled by Ice Cube, Madonna, KGB, Les Sages Poètes De La Rue, Alex Gopher, Thievery Corporation, Beastie Boys and D.I.T.C. On August 15, 2008, it was the re-release of Exotic's Raw by Neek The Exotic. The original was released in 2003. On August 15, 1996, A New York women's shelter refuses to take money raised by a recent benefit concert when they learn that one of the performers was James Brown. The singer was often accused of emotional and physical abuse of women.
