On November 6, 1991, the group Run-DMC released Together Forever: Greatest Hits 1983-1991. In 1998, due to the success of Jason Nevins' remixes of "It's Like That" and "It's Tricky", the compilation was reissued as Together Forever: Greatest Hits 1983-1998, with both remixes added to the compilation. . On October 17, 2000, Limp Bizkit went to Times Square in New York City to celebrate the release of their third album, Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water. They appear on MTV's TRL and sign autographs for some of the 2000 fans who show up to greet them, before heading to the hip-hop station Hot 97 for an interview with Funkmaster Flex. Like their previous album, Significant Other, it debuts at #1 in America. Le 20 octobre 1995, Akhenaton sortait Métèque et mat, son premier album solo.  L’enregistrement a été fait à Marseille, Naples et au Greens Street Recording de New York, un studio qui a en ses murs: Run-DMC, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Heavy D, Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, DJ Muggs, Jungle Brothers et IAM.  On October 20, 1995, Akhenaton released Métèque et mat, his first solo album.
