On January 22, 2010, unfortunately we learned about the passing of former Flavor Unit member Apache. Anthony Peaks was born in Jersey City and had been active since 1990. Le 22 janvier 2010, malheureusement nous apprenions le décès de l’ex membre de Flavor Unit, Apache. Anthony Peaks est né à Jersey City et il était actif depuis 1990. 

On February 26, 1993, then a member of the Flavor Unit, Apache released his 12’’ Gangsta Bitch. He sadly passed away in 2010. He was on Naughty by Nature song 1,2,3 alongside Treach and Lakim Shabazz. Le 26 février 1993, alors membre du Flavor Unit, Apache sortait son 12’’ Gangsta Bitch. Il nous a malheureusement quittés en 2010. Il était sur la chanson 1,2,3 de Naughty by Nature aux côtés de Treach et Lakim Shabazz.      

Le 24 janvier 2014, le groupe Incredible Bongo Band sortait Bongo Rock en 1973, leur premier album. Leur version d’Apache est considérée comme l’hymne national du hip-hop. Mr. Bongo a réédité les deux albums du Incredible Bongo Band au début de 2014.  On January 24, 2014, the group Incredible Bongo Band released Bongo Rock in 1973, their first album. Their version of Apache is considered the national hip-hop anthem. Mr. Bongo reissued both Incredible Bongo Band albums in early 2014.
