Time Bomb vol.1

On March 8, 1996, it was the release of Time Bomb vol.1 by the French collective comprising Booba and Ali (from the group Lunatic), Hill "Ill" G, Cassidy and Hi-Fi (from the group X-Men), Oxmo Puccino, Pit Baccardi, Simsky and One Starr (from the Jedi group, which will become La Famille Haussmann), Red Devil, Ziko, Yoka and Epsi (from the Yusiness group). Le 8 mars 1996, c’était la sortie de Time Bomb vol.1 par le collectif français comprenant Booba et Ali (du groupe Lunatic ), Hill « Ill » G, Cassidy et Hi-Fi (du groupe X-Men ), Oxmo Puccino , Pit Baccardi , Simsky et One Starr (du groupe Jedi, qui deviendront La Famille Haussmann), Diable Rouge, Ziko, Yoka et Epsi (du groupe Yusiness). 

Gang Starr - Hard To Earn

On March 8, 1994, the Gang Starr duo released Hard To Earn. The song Doe in advance is on the Japanese version of the album. The American version is different and Lord Finesse also made a remix of it. Le 8 mars 1994, le duo Gang Starr sortait Hard To Earn. La chanson Doe in advance est sur la version japonaise de l’album. La version américaine est différente et Lord Finesse en a aussi fait un remix.  

New Jack City

On March 8, 1991, it was the release of the movie New Jack City. Martin Lawrence turned down the role of Pookie, which went to Chris Rock. In a time before cultural appropriation, the version translated in Quebec offers the voice of Marc Labrèche for Gee Money, Benoît Rousseau doubles Ice-T, Yves Massicotte makes Bill Cobbs, Jacques Lavallée takes care of Duh Duh Duh, Gilbert Lachance doubles Stone, who else than Jean-Luc Montminy for Nino Brown and Pookie in Quebec is the voice of Vincent Graton. Le 8 mars 1991, c’était la sortie du film New Jack City. Martin Lawrence a refusé le rôle de Pookie, qui est allé à Chris Rock. Dans un temps avant l’appropriation culturelle, la version traduite au Québec offre la voix de Marc Labrèche pour Gee Money, Benoît Rousseau double Ice-T, Yves Massicotte fait Bill Cobbs, Jacques Lavallée s’occupe de Duh Duh Duh, Gilbert Lachance double Stone, qui d’autres que Jean-Luc Montminy pour Nino Brown et Pookie au Québec est la voix de Vincent Graton. 

Zapp - Zapp II

On March 8, 1982, the funk band Zapp released Zapp II. The song Dance Floor was covered by Jungle Brothers, King Tee, Ice Cube, Compton’s Most Wanted, Redman, Erick Sermon, 2Pac, El-P and Purple Disco Machine. Doo Wa Ditty (Blow That Thing) has been covered by Everlast, Beastie Boys, Paperboy, Maestro Fresh Wes, Da Lench Mob and King Tee. Le 8 mars 1982, le groupe funk Zapp sortait Zapp II. La chanson Dance Floor a été reprise par  Jungle Brothers, King Tee, Ice Cube, Compton’s Most Wanted, Redman, Erick Sermon, 2Pac, El-P et Purple Disco Machine.
