On September 24, 2010, unfortunately we learned about the death of Dick Griffey. He had founded SOLAR Records which had as artists: The Deele, Dynasty, Klymaxx, Lakeside, Midnight Star, Shalamar and The Whispers. He is a founder of Death Row Records along with Dr. Dre, The D.O.C. and Suge Knight. Le 24 septembre 2010, malheureusement nous apprenions le décès de Dick Griffey. On February 25, 1992, Dick Griffey, The D.O.C., Dr. Dre and Suge Knight founded the Death Row Records label. Originally called Future Shock Entertainment then Def Row, Tha Row disappeared in 2008. In its early days, gangster Harry O provided $ 1.5 million under another name to fund this new option on the West Coast. The most famous releases are The Chronic, Doggystyle, Dogg Food and All Eyez On Me. Le 25 février 1992, Dick Griffey, The D.O.C., Dr. Dre et Suge Knight fondent l’étiquette Death Row Records. Appelé au départ Future Shock Entertainment puis Def Row, Tha Row disparaît en 2008. À ses débuts, le gangster Harry O a fourni 1,5 millions de dollars sous un autre nom pour financer cette nouvelle option sur la côte ouest.
