On January 8, 2021, the duo Tha Dogg Pound released the single Let’s Roll. This is the first single from their 8th album which was to be titled Dogg Food 2 but was instead called DPG 4 Life. On November 14, 1995, Gangsta Rap rules with Tha Dogg Pound at #1 on the US Albums chart with Dogg Food. Snoop Dogg is not part of this group; Tha Dogg Pound are Death Row labelmates Daz Dillinger and Kurupt. Other Gangstas in the Top 10 are Cypress Hill with Cypress Hill III at #3 and 8Ball and MJG at #8 with On Top of the World. On July 31, 2001, the 2002 compilation by duo Tha Dogg Pound was released with Death Row Records. These are recordings made between 1995 and 1999. On July 3, 2012, the duo Tha Dogg Pound released Doggy Bag. Kurupt is part of the 1st Generation supergroup, consisting of himself, King Tee, Sir Jinx, Gangsta from Comradz and MC Eiht and producer Tha Chill from Compton's Most Wanted.
