On January 20, 1998, Saafir released Trigonometry, his 2nd album. This second effort was released under his pseudonym Mr. No No and with Wrap Records. On October 31, 2006, Saafir released Good Game: The Transition. This is the Oakland native's 4th album. Starting in 2012 Saafir's son, Saafir Gibson began to release music under the moniker Saafir.
