Following this effort, Grand Daddy I.U. appeared on Big L's 1995 album, Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous and then went on a 12-year hiatus before returning in 2007 with his third studio album, Stick to the Script. In 1994, he wrote about it in Ben Merlis's book, promoting the song Represent was not to his liking so he threw a chair in a Cold Chillin '/ Epic Street reunion. This youthful mistake probably affected the visibility he had later in his career, being classified as "difficult". Le 16 avril 2012, Grand Daddy I.U. sortait Shots Fired.
