On April 24, 1990, Brooklyn-based group X Clan released To The East, Blackwards, their debut album. The original formation was active from 1989 to 1995. On March 17, 2006, unfortunately we learned about the death of Professor X from the group X Clan. He was the son of activist Sonny Carson. Le 17 mars 2006, malheureusement nous apprenons le décès de Professor X du groupe X Clan. Il était le fils de l’activiste Sonny Carson.
