His 1967 track Groovin which comes from his Solid Soul album has been sampled by GZA, Ol Dirty Bastard, DJ Craze, Sam The Kid and Rapsody. He also produced the songs I'm Glad You're Mine, Love and Happiness, Trouble, Heartaches & Sadness, Let's Stay Together, I Can't Stand the Rain, Could I Be Falling in Love, Something, Let's Straighten It Out, I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down and I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down.
