The original is from 1982 with the now defunct Nigerian label CBO. This highlife music known as Edo Funk originated in Benin City, Nigeria. Analog Africa is a label based in Frankfurt, Germany, owned by Samy Ben Redjeb, releasing compilations with African and South American music mostly from the 70s and 80s. Osakpamwan Ohenhen was also part of  Ohenhen & His Feelings and The Talents Of Benin.  Le 3 mars 2023, c'était l

To mark the album's 10th anniversary, a Lee Goodwin film of the same name was released starring Mika Tan, Wesley Pipes, Mr. Marcus, Venus Rising, Natalie Houston, Darren James, Promise, Envy Me, David Steele and Too Short.
