On December 10, 2002, GZA released Legend Of The Liquid Sword, his 4th album. Along with Common and his album Electric Circus, this is one of the last two projects of the MCA label before it was dissolved and absorbed by Geffen Records. It is an album which, in addition to being recognized as one of the best related to Wu-Tang Clan, is perceived over time as one of the best in hip-hop history. In 2020, he provided his voice in Netflix's Kipo and Ages of Wonders series as Bad Billions, and also contributed a song to the series. On July 24, 2012, GZA released Liquid Swords (Box Set). The bonuses are instrumental versions of all songs except Swordsman and B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth).
