On October 25, 1988, MC Shan released Born to be Wild, it was his 2nd album. Marley Marl is in charge of the production. Shawn Moltke got his big break in 1983 when the future boss of Cold Chillin' Records caught Shan trying to steal his car, although the fact that old-school superproducer Marley Marl was Shan's cousin probably didn't hurt either. On June 25, 2017, MC Shan released Bars over Bullshit. This is his first album in 27 years and it should be noted that he made peace with Marley Marl in 2021 by switching to his Legendize podcast. Le 25 juin 2017, MC Shan sortait Bars over Bullshit. C’est son premier album en 27 ans et il est à noter qu’il a fait la paix avec Marley Marl en 2021 en passant à son podcast Legendize. 

On April 11, 1990, MC Shan released Play it again, Shan, his 3rd album. This is his last effort with Cold Chillin’. His return to record only happened in 2017. Le 11 avril 1990, MC Shan sortait Play it again, Shan, son 3e album. C’est son dernier effort avec Cold Chillin’. Son retour sur disque ne s’est fait qu’en 2017.
