LL Cool J

On November 18, 1985, LL Cool J released Radio, his first album. The production is done by Rick Rubin except for I Need a Beat which Jazzy Jay co-produced. His only album that went to number 1 is G.O.A.T., 10 went to # 2, Bigger and Deffer climbed to 3rd position, The DEFinition made it to number 4, 14 Shots to the Dome at # 5, Walking with a Panther and Todd Smith both at number 6 and Phenomenon was a #7. Son seul album qui a été numéro 1 est G.O.A.T., 10 a été au #2, Bigger and Deffer est grimpé en 3e position, The DEFinition s’est rendu au numéro 4, 14 Shots to the Dome au #5, Walking with a Panther et Todd Smith tous deux au numéro 6 et Phenomenon a été un #7.

On October 14, 1997, LL Cool J released Phenomenon, his 7th album. Between 1995 and 1998, he starred in the TV series In The House. Le 14 octobre 1997, LL Cool J sortait Phenomenon, son 7e album. Entre 1995 et 1998, il était la vedette de la série télé In The House.

On September 12, 2000, LL Cool J came out with G.O.A.T. Featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time, his 8th album. Prodigy is a guest on the song Queens Is. On May 29, 1987, LL Cool J released Bigger and Deffer, his 2nd album. In the VH1 documentary Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation, James Todd Smith revealed that he initially wanted to be called J-Ski but didn't want to associate his stage name with cocaine cultivation. Rappers who use "Ski" or "Blow" as part of their stage name, for example, Kurtis Blow and Joeski Love, were associated with the rise of cocaine cultivation, as shown in the remake of Scarface in 1983. On April 14, 1986, LL Cool J became the first solo rapper with a Gold album when his debut, Radio, was certified for sales of 500,000 in America. He became the first Platinum solo rapper a year later when his second album, Bigger And Deffer, sold a million.
