On August 22, 2006, it was the release of the album The Shining by J Dilla, his 3rd effort. Pharoahe Monch is a guest on the song Love. Le 22 août 2006, c’était la sortie de l’album The Shining par J Dilla, son 3e effort. Pharoahe Monch est invité sur la chanson Love. 

On June 12, 2012, it was the release of Rebirth of Detroit by J Dilla. Boldy James and Chuck Inglish are guest stars on the song Detroit Game. Le 12 juin  2012, c’était la sortie de Rebirth of Detroit par J Dilla. Boldy James et Chuck Inglish sont invités sur la chanson Detroit Game.

On February 27, 2001, J Dilla came out with Welcome 2 Detroit. This is J Dilla's debut album after being known as Jay Dee with Slum Village. Le 27 février 2001, J Dilla sortait Welcome 2 Detroit. C’est le premier album de J Dilla après avoir été connu comme Jay Dee avec Slum Village.   

On February 27, 1996, Busta Rhymes released the single Woo Hah !! Got You All in Check. J Dilla, then Jay Dee, made a remix of it. Le 27 février 1996, Busta Rhymes sortait le simple Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check. J Dilla, alors Jay Dee, en a fait un remix. 

Le 10 février 2006, malheureusement nous apprenons le décès de J Dilla qui était au sommet de son art. En plus de son illustre carrière solo, il était membre de Slum Village et de Soulquarians.   On February 10, 2006, unfortunately we learned about the death of J Dilla who was at the top of his game. Le 7 février 2011, c’était la sortie du documentaire Still Shining. Ce film porte sur la vie et l’oeuvre de J Dilla, le tournage avait débuté en 2006 après ses funérailles.  On February 7, 2011, it was the release of the documentary Still Shining. This film is about the life and work of J Dilla, shooting began in 2006 after his funeral.
