On August 11, 2023, we went to La Foire du Vieux Sainte-Rose (in the northwest of Laval), there were many exhibitors, especially for crafts, but around 6 p.m. there were more exhibitors than visitors, it was airy. We didn't buy anything, I looked for a blue toilet paper roll cover that would have been knitted but for my 80 year old mother who is in great shape and who likes Club Les Fermières style crafts. Then, head to La Marquise in Laval-Ouest for ice cream. A nice place, which has a wide choice with fast service (sometimes it's the customers who are slow to choose their order in front of the large selection). Finally, we ended the evening at the Centre de la Nature in Laval to see Shaina Hayes (the opening act) and Salomé Leclerc perform. It was a free show that started at 8 p.m., we left the Centre de la Nature around 10 p.m. A beautiful evening because the place is enchanting for a musical show in summer. Many parks in Laval now tolerate alcool with a full meal.  Le 11 ao
