On November 1, 2010, the Fat Beats store in Los Angeles closed after the New York store which had closed less than two months earlier. Le 1er novembre 2010, le magasin de Fat Beats à Los Angeles fermait après celui de New York qui avait fermé moins de deux mois plus tôt. 

On September 22, 2018, faced with an upsurge in demand for vinyl records, the Fat Beats store reopened a physical location. Le 22 septembre 2018, face à une recrudescence de la demande de disques vinyles, le magasin Fat Beats ouvrait à nouveau un emplacement physique. 

On September 4, 2010, after having seen its sales decline in 2008, in part because of the Serato, it was the closure of the Fat Beats store in New York. Brown Bag Allstars performed in store for the past week with Pete Rock and DJ Premier. Le 4 septembre 2010, après avoir vu ses ventes baisser dès 2008, en partie à cause des Serato, c’était la fermeture du magasin Fat Beats de New York. Brown Bag Allstars ont offert une performance en magasin durant la dernière semaine en compagnie de Pete Rock et DJ Premier. 

On July 14, 2019, it was the concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of Fat Beats. As guests, we could found T La Rock, Vinnie Paz, Esoteric, Non Phixion, Necro, Rob Swift, Mista Sinista, Qbert, Bahamadia, The Juggaknots, Natural Elements, Last Emperor, DJ Riz, Lord Sear and Eclipse. Le 14 juillet 2019, c’était le concert célébrant le 25e anniversaire de Fat Beats. Comme invités, nous retrouvions T La Rock, Vinnie Paz, Esoteric, Non Phixion, Necro, Rob Swift, Mista Sinista, Qbert, Bahamadia, The Juggaknots, Natural Elements, Last Emperor, DJ Riz, Lord Sear et Eclipse.
