On January 2, 2017, DJ Scratch posted on his Instagram, his resentment towards EPMD which he left in 2015. Surprisingly, it’s about a monetary question, who would have believed it. For the record, Diamond J was their first DJ, then DJ K La Boss took over on the first album. From the 2nd album to 2015, DJ Scratch was the group's DJ.
