On September 12, 2000, unfortunately we learned about the death of saxophonist Stanley Turrentine. His track Sister Sanctified, from the Cherry album in 1972, was sampled by Ultramagnetic MC's, Boogie Down Productions, 3rd Bass, Ice Cube, Too Short, Ice-T, Ministère A.M.E.R., Meat Beat Manifesto, Purple Penguin Danger Mouse and J. Cole. Le 12 septembre 2000, malheureusement nous apprenions le décès du saxophoniste Stanley Turrentine.
