The group's first song, Crime, dates from 1985. After Brand Nubian, Grand Puba released his first solo album in 1992. He returned with Brand Nubian for the period 1997 to 2000 and has been back with the group since 2003. Né le 4 mars 1966, c’est l’anniversaire de Grand Puba, bien connu pour son travail avec Brand Nubian.  Avant Brand Nubian, Grand Puba faisait parti du groupe Masters Of Ceremony. La première chanson du groupe, Crime, date de 1985. Après Brand Nubian, Grand Puba a sorti un premier album solo en 1992.
