Il s'agit d'un titre générique pour deux émissions spéciales télévisées en direct de 60 minutes produites par Hanna-Barbera qui ont été diffusées à NBC les 18 et 25 janvier 1979. Flash est quelque chose dans l'intro (voyez-le par vous-mêmes) et ils auraient pu donner un costume plus grand à Adam West qui était au début de la cinquantaine (et toujours en forme mais pas en forme supplémentaire pour Batman de la télévision) à ce moment-là. Le combat de Batman et Robin contre Solomon Grundy de la Legion of Doom est quelque peu diminué par les rires en canne.

C'est extrêmement réducteur en considérant seulement Easin' In, Runnin' et Love Never Dies. Je pense qu'il y a de la frustration de : la bande sonore aurait pu être par James Brown. C'est devenu The Payback alors reviens-en! Hell Up In Harlem et The Payback peuvent co-exister dans un même monde. James avait juste à slaquer sur les dépenses et ça n'aurait pas mis American International Pictures (AIP) fru fru avec la bande sonore Slaughter's Big Rip-Off, ouvrant ainsi le champ à Edwin Starr pour prendre la relève musicale du troisième film de Larry Cohen.

It's extremely reductive considering only Easin' In, Runnin' and Love Never Dies. I think there's frustration: the soundtrack could have been by James Brown. It became The Payback so get over it! Hell Up In Harlem and The Payback can co-exist in the same world. James just had to slack on the expenses and it wouldn't have put American International Pictures (AIP) on their heels with the Slaughter's Big Rip-Off soundtrack, thus opening the way for Edwin Starr to take over the music for Larry Cohen's third film.

To pay tribute to poor Edwin, he was musically active from 1962 to 2003 with 15 albums. Let's give him the credit for going to swing hard with War against Vietnam in 1969, the argument that Motown is just about mushy songs isn't always valid. As far as demagogy goes, for me it beats giving an overly powdered interview to CNN in 1988 as a commitment.

Pour les trois premiers épisodes de la deuxième saison, nous avons eu un campus universitaire divisé, des radicaux d'extrême-droite qui blâme tout sur la gauche, un super-héros parti en grand renfort à un président désorienté. Qu'est-ce qu'on peut en retirer pour la prochaine saison (et finale) pour The Boys? Starlight va les sauver et / ou elle va tuer The Deep (un empalement dans la gorge, par exemple).
For the first three episodes of the second season, a divided university campus, far-right radicals who blame everything on the left, a superhero sent to reinforce a disoriented president. What can we take away from this for the next season (and finale) for The Boys? Starlight will save them and/or she will kill The Deep (an impalement in the throat, for example).
