1 - Babla & His Orchestra
Jam Chalne Laage provient de leur album intitulé Ghazal Hits Of Pankaj Udhas & Anup Jalota de 1985 qui est paru avec Music India de Mumbai. Babla Shah est le frère cadet de Kalyanji Anandji. Le duo mari-femme, avec aussi Kumari Kanchan Dinkarrao, s'est produit et a fait des tournées ensemble dans le monde entier pendant 40 ans. En 1980, il sort un album disco électronique, Babla's Disco Sensation, qui fait notamment un usage précoce de la boîte à rythmes Roland TR-808.

The husband-and-wife duo, also featuring Kumari Kanchan Dinkarrao, performed and toured together worldwide for 40 years. Evidence se retrouve sur son premier album intitulé I'm Just a Prisoner de 1970 avec Fame de Muscle Shoals. En cette même, elle a épousé le chanteur Clarence Carter (deux ans après Back Door Santa) et ensemble ils ont un enfant, Clarence Carter Jr. Ils divorcent en 1973. De 2010 à 2012, Staton a été mariée à l'ancien joueur de baseball Otis Nixon qui était avec les Expos de Montréal de 1988 à 1990.

3 - Dan Hartman - Hands Down (1979)
Il a écrit et chanté pour le groupe Edgar Winter, dont il faisait partie, notamment, de « Free Ride », leur deuxième plus grand succès pop, en 1972. Il a également écrit la chanson disco « Love Sensation », enregistrée par Loleatta Holloway, en 1980. Il a coécrit et réalisé « Living in America » en 1986 pour James Brown. On le connaît pour des chansons pop comme « I Can Dream About You », mais il était polyvalent, comme on l'a déjà lu plus haut. Il a également coécrit « (Krush Groove) Can't Stop the Street » avec Charlie Midnight pour le film de Michael Schultz, une chanson interprétée par Chaka Khan.
He wrote and sang the Edgar Winter Group, as part of the band, second biggest pop hit, "Free Ride", in 1972. He wrote the 1980 disco song "Love Sensation" recorded by Loleatta Holloway. He co-wrote and produced Living in America in 1986 for James Brown. We know him for such pop songs as I Can Dream About You but he was versatile as shown before, he also did the cowriting for "(Krush Groove) Can't Stop the Street" with Charlie Midnight for the Michael Schultz film and the song was performed by Chaka Khan.

Ride On aussi présente en version instrumental en face B en 1969 est leur seul 45 tours qui est paru avec Amos Records qui a été active de 1968 à 1972. Ils ont fait un retour en 1981 en tant que The Ebony Jam Band pour un album éponyme avec Starbound Records d'Oakland en Californie. En début de carrière, en 1968, le trio était dans The Savonics (un groupe de 8 membres qui n'est pas le même qui jouait avec Eugene Blacknell) pour le simple Soul Groove / I Had A Girl avec MTA Records de New York.

Darkness provient d'un des deux 45 tours de Thomas Gilchrist qui provient de Greenwood en Caroline du Sud, ici il s'agit du côté B de Don't Change Me qui est paru avec JSJ Records de Tennessee alors que le propriétaire Hoyt Sullivan vient aussi de la même ville de l'état dans lequel est aussi né James Brown. Come Back When You Grow Up Boy / Misery est son deuxième et dernier simple.

Ism & Blues la chanson titre de leur seul album est demeurée inédite jusqu'à la réédition de 2019 par 90's Tapes / HHV à Berlin. Celle-ci était toutefois sur la version promo du 12'' intitulé Ghetto Diamond en 1994. Le disque complet est réalisé par SD50s / Stimulated Dummies (Dante Ross, Geeby Dajani, John Gamble). En 1993, Pete Nice (ex 3rd Bass à ce moment) et l'auteur-animateur radio Bobbito Garcia (alors à WKCR avec Stretch Armstrong) ont lancé leur propre étiquette, Hoppoh Records, sous l'égide de Columbia Records. Ils ont également fondé Hit-U-Off Management, représentant des artistes comme Hard 2 Obtain (H2O) et The Artifacts.

Nous la retrouvons seulement sur l'album A Constipated Monkey pour sa réédition de 2007 avec Amalgam Entertainment qui a brièvement brillé de 2005 à 2009.

C'est sur le seul album de La Gamic paru en 1998. Je me suis posé une question qui semblait simple, qui sont les membres, je cherchais le nom de Natty Soyha. Je me suis aussi demandé qu'en-il de sa présence, c'est elle sur le remix (version vidéoclip) de Johnny Go (pas les maudits barreaux de chaises à 60$ la pof), pour la chanson classique en 1996 de Jean Leloup. Un terrier de lapin duquel je me suis heureusement sorti.
It's on the only album from La Gamic released in 1998. I asked myself a question that seemed simple, who are the members, I was looking for the name of Natty Soyha. I also wondered what about her presence, it's her on the remix (video version) of Johnny Go (not the damned $60 chair bars), for the classic song in 1996 by Jean Leloup. A rabbit hole from which I fortunately got out.
