Son premier album est paru avec Vault que Ralph Kaffel (co-fondateur de Stax et président de Fantasy) avait co-fondé. En 1973, son seul autre album est paru avec Black Forum, une division de Motown. L'année suiante, elle est devenue la seule femme à diriger le Black Panther Party.

"Je ne sais pas si le monde en a vraiment besoin en ce moment, mais peut-être qu'ils le veulent, je ne sais pas. Ils l'obtiendront, à un moment donné, parce que je vais les sortir."

"We have a bunch of rap songs also that never came out, but the bulk of it is stoner jams", he said. "I don't know if the world really needs that right now, but maybe they want it I don't know. They're going to get it, at some point, because I'm going to put it out."

La chanson sonne comme un futur classique rock, depuis 10 ans la dernière chanson de ce style commercial que j'ai autant aimé est Same Damn Life du groupe sud-africain Seether.

Rob Cavallo is back as their producer, having worked with them for Dookie in 1994, American Idiot in 2004 and ¡Tré! in 2012. The song sounds like a future rock classic, for the last 10 years the song of this comemrcial style that I liked so much was Same Damn Life by the South African group Seether.
