8 - Eramus Hall - Your Love Is My Desire (1980)
Groupe de musiciens qui s'est regroupé à la fin des années 70. Apparemment, c'est George Clinton, de Parliament / Funkadelic, qui a donné ce nom au groupe après avoir vu un bâtiment nommé "Eramus Hall" à Chicago. Les deux albums qu'ils ont sortis ont montré des traces d'une saveur post-P-Funk et ils ont aussi un son soul doux avec un funk jazzy serré.
Group of musicians who came together in the late 70s. Mandel a enregistré deux morceaux avec les Rolling Stones pour leur album de 1976 Black and Blue : "Hot Stuff" (assurant le solo de guitare principal tout au long) et "Memory Motel".

Mr. P.C. date de 1968 alors que les autres pièces sont de 1988 et 1989. Nodlew Music était une société d'édition américaine affiliée à BMI et fondée par Weldon Irvine en 1968. Le nom de la société est « Weldon » épelé à l'envers et il avait emprunté une idée à Ecaroh Music d'Horace Silver.
Mr. P.C. dates from 1968 while the other pieces are from 1988 and 1989. Nodlew Music was an American publishing company affiliated with BMI and founded by Weldon Irvine in 1968. The name of the company is "Weldon" spelled backwards and he borrowed an idea from Horace Silver's Ecaroh Music.

Il avait repris Soul Train Records en main qu'il avait fondé deux ans plus tôt avec l'animateur Don Cornelius. Dick Griffey est devenu plus tard un co-fondateur (lire celui qui a mis l'argent) pour Death Row Records avec The D.O.C. et Dr. Dre.

Il n'y avait pas de table de merch à Montréal et au show qui a suivi à Toronto, cet album de tournée exclusif n'était pas disponible. Je remercie Ryan Cowdy du groupe FB Hip Hop Vinyl Spinners pour la mention. Armand Hammer a révélé qu'ils présenteraient l'album uniquement en vinyle appelé BLK LBL disponible lors des concerts. Ils ont fait une chose similaire en 2022 avec WHT LBL, une sortie limitée à 500 exemplaires uniquement en vinyle « composée de matériel inédit et de collaborations, nouvelles et anciennes », et Billy Woods dit : « Comme le WHT LBL, certaines chansons individuelles peuvent se retrouveront dans des endroits nouveaux (ou anciens) mais ce projet ne sera pas diffusé en streaming. La famille Blanco a poursuivi Netflix pour arrêter la diffusion, je ne vois pas comment tu peux vouloir blanchir le nom de ta mère quand elle vendait de la drogue, tuait des gens, dirigeait un immense cartel de drogues, ordonnait des meurtres et a tué ou fait tuer ses trois maris.
I binge-watched, pow pow pow (on a motorbike), the mini-series about the criminal who had a very young Pablo Escobar as her protégé. The Blanco family sued Netflix to stop the broadcast, I don't see how you can want to clear your mother's name when she was selling drugs, killing people, running a huge drug cartel, ordering murders and killed or had her three husbands killed.
