I had always spit on this series believing, okay okay check the animated series of rednecks. But no, as well described by Mike Judge, the animated serie King of the Hill is apolitical. Me and my youngest fell in love with Henri pis sa Gang (but in English). Fox aired the original from 1997 to 2009 while the return will be with on the streaming platform Hulu. On November 1, 2018, all episodes became available to stream on Hulu in the United States. In some countries, the series was not available for streaming or digital purchase, as Hulu is only available in the United States. However, in 2022, the series was made available internationally on Disney+ through the Star hub. The show aired in broadcast television syndication from 2001 to 2020.

Their last album Casulaties of War dates from 2007, this was the 4th album of Buckshot (Black Moon), O.G.C. (Louieville Sluggah, Starang Wondah and Top Dog), Rock (Heltah Skeltah), Smif-N-Wessun (Tek and Steele) and the late Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah). Following the release of the album Dah Shinin in 1995 by Smif-N-Wessun, camp leader Buckshot and his business partner Dru Ha founded Duck Down Records after leaving Nervous Records due to unpaid royalties, and signed both Heltah Skeltah as well as O.G.C. to the new label. At the end of 1995, Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C. teamed up to form The Fab 5 and released their first b/w "Blah" single "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka". The B-side, "Leflah", became a surprise hit, peaking at #75 on the Hot 100, making it the highest-grossing single released by any Boot Camp member or affiliate.

If MTG were to follow along, they would know that Dr. Dre's 2001 is one of the most popular gangsta rap albums of all time. Not exactly like that as protects our children. On July 17, 2023, unfortunately we learned of the death of Brazilian jazz and bossa nova pianist João Donato. In 1970 he was asked to record what became A Bad Donato for Blue Thumb Records. It was, in a way, his breakthrough record. He was invited by Bobby Krasnow, manager of Blue Thumb Records, to make a recording. He traveled with him to Japan. He loved his music and he said when they got back he would like him to do a recording for him and do what he wanted to do. So he walked into the studio and they had all kinds of instruments, keyboards, machines, clavinets and Yamahas. They gave him everything, all the tools he needed to record and he was free to record whoever he wanted to record with. They also gave him all the successful records at that time. But the one thing he loved was James Brown. His music was the only one he liked when he heard the pile of records offered to him. So he recorded something with his influence. The result was a very good album called A Bad Donato.

On September 15, 2023, having had the blessing of Pharoah Sanders, Luaka Bop (founded by David Byrne from the Talking Heads) presents the definitive remastered version of Pharoah, his seminal record from 1977, in an embossed 2-LP box set. Along with the original record, there will be two never-before-seen live performances of his masterpiece, “Harvest Time,” and a 24-page booklet with rarely seen photographs and ephemera, which tell the story of this album and this moment in Pharoah's life in a way that has never been done before, including through interviews with many of the participants and a conversation with Pharoah himself. Fellow saxophonist Ornette Coleman once described the Little Rock, Arkansas native as "probably the best tenor in the world." Sanders was considered a follower of John Coltrane or, as Albert Ayler put it, "Trane was the Father, Pharaoh was the Son, I am the Holy Spirit".

On September 15, 2023, it will be the reissues of Jujus - Alchemy of the Blues (1976) and Together to the Tune of Coltrane's Equinox (1977) by Sarah Webster Fabio. She is credited with helping introduce the black arts movement to Bay Area colleges. After her tenure at Merritt College, she held positions at the California College of Arts and Crafts and the University of California, Berkeley between 1968 and 1971. At both of these institutions, she is credited with helping to establish the first black studies departments. Fabio has written several collections including poetry and prose. Fabio also makes poetic recordings (four albums from 1972 under Folkways Records). Her records and the entire Folkways collection can be found in the "Smithsonian Folkway" collection online. She published an anthology in 1966. Her seven-volume Rainbow Signs series is considered one of her most impressive works. Cheryl Fabio, Fabio's daughter produced the documentary film of Fabio's life and work Rainbow Black: Poet Sarah W. Fabio in 1976.

Originally recorded in vocal version, the title was to be Abortion Stories. Wanting to avoid controversy, the director asked for the title to be changed when Jim had pulled his peni out during a show a few months earlier.
