Sen Dog

Born November 22, 1965, it is Sen Dog's birthday. Senen Reyes was born in Cuba and has been active since 1986. He and his brother Ulpiano Sergio Reyes E teamed up in 1988 with New York-born Lawrence Muggerud (also known as DJ Muggs, previously in a rap group named 7A3) and Louis Freese (also known as B-Real) to form a hip-hop group named DVX. (Devastating Vocal Excellence). The group quickly lost Mellow Man Ace to a solo career and changed their name to Cypress Hill, after a street in South Gate.

Lui et son frère Ulpiano Sergio Reyes E se sont associés en 1988 à Lawrence Muggerud, originaire de New York (également connu sous le nom de DJ Muggs, auparavant dans un groupe de rap nommé 7A3) et Louis Freese (également connu sous le nom de B-Real) pour former un groupe de hip-hop nommé DVX. (Devastating Vocal Excellence). Le groupe a rapidement perdu Mellow Man Ace au profit d'une carrière solo et a changé son nom pour Cypress Hill, d'après le nom d’une rue de South Gate.

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
