On August 29, 2020, the Mr. Bongo label reissued the eponymous album by Sir Joe Quarterman and Free Soul. The song I'm Gonna Get You was sampled by Black, Rock & Ron, The New Style, The DOC, 3rd Bass, Rob Base, NWA, Special Ed, K-Solo, Above The Law, Yo-Yo, Paris, The Conscious Daughters, The Chemical Brothers, Naughty By Nature and Madonna.

Le 29 août 2020, l’étiquette Mr. Bongo réédite l’album éponyme de Sir Joe Quarterman and Free Soul.
