On June 7, 1975, The Isley Brothers released The Heat Is On, their 13th album. The song For The Love of you has been sampled by The Real Roxanne, Dee Nasty, Naughty By Nature, Common, Slick Rick, Masta Ace Incorporated, Jaylib, Nas, Willie the Kid and Bishop Nehru.
