Arabian Prince

Born on June 17, 1965, it is the birthday of Arabian Prince. In 1986 he was a founding member of N.W.A, but soon after his colleague Ice Cube returned from the Phoenix Institute of Technology in 1988, Arabian Prince quit because of royalty and contractual disagreements. “I started out as a solo artist,” he said, “so I was aware of what a royalty statement was. I knew when these many records were sold there was a quarterly statement. When you watch it you can see how much money was paid and then split it. It wasn't. We also never got paid for the tours."

Né le 17 juin 1965, c'est l’anniversaire d’Arabian Prince. En 1986, il était un membre fondateur de N.W.A, mais peu de temps après le retour de son collègue Ice Cube du Phoenix Institute of Technology en 1988, Arabian Prince a quitté à cause des royautés et les désaccords contractuels. "J'ai commencé en tant qu'artiste solo", a-t-il déclaré, "donc j'étais conscient de ce qu'était une déclaration de redevance. Je savais que lorsque ces nombreux disques étaient vendus, il y avait une déclaration trimestrielle. Quand vous la regardez, vous pouvez voir combien d'argent a été payé et ensuite le partager. On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Chappelle’s Show

Le 22 janvier 2003, c’était le début du Chappelle’s Show. Deux saisons complètes ont vu le jour à Comedy Central et une 3e saison de 3 épisodes inédits a été diffusée après la débâcle de Chappelle.  On January 22, 2003, the Chappelle’s Show began. Two full seasons saw the light of day on Comedy Central and a 3rd season of 3 unreleased episodes was released after the Chappelle debacle.
