La chanson It’s A New Day a vu son rythme de batterie repris par Stezo, The Pharcyde, Das EFX, Redman, Black Moon, Lords of the Underground, Erick Sermon, IAM, Big L, Bran Van 3000, La Structure, Booba et Nolan the Ninja.
On October 12, 2018, the label Mr Bongo released a reissue of the famous Skull Snaps album recorded in 1973. The song It's A New Day saw its drum break taken up by Stezo, The Pharcyde, Das EFX, Redman, Black Moon, Lords of the Underground, Erick Sermon, IAM, Big L, Bran Van 3000, La Structure, Booba and Nolan the Ninja.
