Le fameux instrumental n'était pas prévu et aurait été improvisé.  This Cincinnati band was active from 1965 to 1972, Sad Chicken is the B-side of their final 45 rpm titled Rainy Night In Georgia released with Chicago's Duo Records. La même année, le compositeur italien (né à Rome) s'est aussi occupé de la musique du film White Fang and the Hunter avec l'acteur américain Robert Woods.  Title track of Elio Bartolini's only film as director.
