1 - Leo Acosta
Rencorosa comes from her first album titled Acosta, which was released in 1970 with Capitol Records in Mexico. The label Mad About Records in Portugal made a reissue in 2021, but unfortunately the sound quality is poor, a purchase to avoid.

2 - Mania D - Kinderfunk (1980)
The short-lived German all female new wave band was from Berlin. Two members (Gudrun Gut and Bettina Köster) went on to form Malaria! in January 1981. Beate Bartel was also with CHBB, Einstürzende Neubauten, Liaisons Dangereuses, Matador and Monika Werkstatt.

Keep On Keeping On comes from his 1972 album Nolan with ABC Records; the single had been released the previous year with Lizard. He was accompanied by musicians Clarence McDonald (keyboards), Jim Gordon (drums), Ray Pohlman (bass), Larry Carlton (guitar), Charles Owens (saxophone), Oscar Brashear (trumpet), and The Blackberries (backing vocals).

Mimi was the subject of the retro episode of the One Song podcast on May 21. On the same day, Grafh was on The Almanac of Rap. Haas G (The UMC's) gave a captivating interview on the Gems with Shom podcast on May 22, and the next day Open Mike Eagle was with Cousin Jake on the Questlove show.
