The Headhunter est une reprise de Soul Makossa qui est présente sur l'album III en 1974 avec EMI. C'est l'œuvre du chef d'orchestre britannique Geoff Love. Après avoir joué dans des groupes comme Manuel And The Music Of The Mountains, il a décidé de s'orienter vers un tout autre registre. Avec l'aide du réalisateur Norman Newell, il réunit des musiciens de studio, s'entoure de compositeurs talentueux et crée un mélange explosif de percussions exotiques, de cuivres imposants et d'instruments électroniques.
