1 - Keith Mlevhu
I Am Your Warrior provient de son deuxième album intitulé Love and Freedom de 1976 qui est paru avec son étiquette Mac Bullet. Le « One Man Band » de Chingola était très populaire en Zambie à son apogée. Il jouait généralement de tous les instruments sur ses enregistrements, y compris le chant, la basse électrique, la guitare solo, la guitare acoustique, les claviers et la batterie.
"I Am Your Warrior" comes from his second album, Love and Freedom, released in 1976 on his own label, Mac Bullet. Chingola's "One Man Band" was very popular in Zambia at its peak. He typically played all the instruments on his recordings, including vocals, electric bass, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, and drums.

2026 marque le 50e anniversaire de son unique album studio, Changin’ Times. Le réalisateur Jerry Goldstein l’avait enregistré à l’intérieur de la prison d’État de Folsom, où il purgeait une peine de prison à perpétuité et où le jeune prodige passait son temps à écrire et à jouer avec ses codétenus. Parmi ses admirateurs et soutiens figurent des artistes comme Stevie Wonder et Snoop Dogg, et la sortie du film documentaire en 2019 a suscité un regain d’intérêt pour sa musique et son héritage.
2026 marks the 50th anniversary of his only full-length studio release, Changin’ Times. Music producer Jerry Goldstein originally recorded the album from within the walls of Folsom State Prison where he was serving a life sentence, and where the musical prodigy spent his time writing and performing alongside fellow inmates. His advocates and fans include the likes of Stevie Wonder and Snoop Dogg and, with the release of the documentary film in 2019, there is renewed interest in his music and legacy.
