1 - Sister Nancy
« Bam » de Jay-Z et Damian « Jr. Gong » Marley est son échantillonage préféré de Bam Bam. Le fait qu'il l'ait emmenée avec lui pour tourner le clip en Jamaïque était incroyable. Tout le monde avait déjà utilisé la chanson, mais lui avait choisi de l'emmener. Tous les autres étaient gratteux; ils n'y avaient même pas pensé.

3 - Def Nettle - Nothing For It (2025)
Il s'agit du projet punk-funk du musicien Glen Brady, bien connu comme la moitié du groupe électro new-yorkais The Glass, comme DJ Wool et comme membre de Dark w/ Dolores O'Riordan et Andy Rourke. C'est la première fois que l'artiste qui change de genre occupe le devant de la scène.

Immortal, son troisième album paru en 2003, est presque ce qu'on appelle un média perdu. Il n'est pas répertorié sur discogs et il est encore impossible d'en trouver un exemplaire à vendre. La réalisation aurait été assurée par Ced Gee et TR Love d'Ultramagnetic MC's.

6 - Yaellee
Ils sont une fusion émouvante de néo-soul, de jazz et de folk arménien. Leur chanson « Weary Eyes » est sortie en juillet dernier, extraite de leur maxi intitulé « Untold Stories ». Leur chanteuse principale, Yelena Mashkaryan, travaille également comme agente immobilière à Bochum.
They are a soulful fusion of neo soul, jazz, and Armenian folk music. Their song Weary Eyes was released last July as part of their EP titled Untold Stories. Their lead singer is Yelena Mashkaryan and she slaso works as a real estate agent in Bochum.
