They first started recording as Leola & The Love Joys (later shortened to The Love Joys) consisting of Leola Jiles and Ella Jamerson and they released their first single on the Tiger record label in 1963 "He Ain't No Angel / Wait 'Round The Corner". Their second single was "It's Mighty Nice / “Payin' For The Wrong I've Done" was released in 1964. In 1965, they became The Apollas and added Billie Barnum (the younger sister of H.B.) as their fourth member and were immediately signed by Loma Records a soul subsidiary of Warner Brothers. Their debut single was "You're Absolutely Right," was a rough and tumble soul sounding song which established the trio as a strong presence and formed some top-notch material on the Loma record label.
7 - The Apollo Stars - We're Moving In

I’ll Bet You est son quatrième 45 tours, son premier avec Golden World (qui s'est éteinte en 1968) de Detroit après ses trois premiers simples avec Correc-Tone Recording en 1964 / 65 (son It's Love est le dernier disque de cette étiquette). La chanson est co-écrite par George Clinton et Funkadelic l'a aussi faite en 1970.
I'll Bet You is her fourth 45, his first with Detroit's Golden World (which folded in 1968) after her first three singles with Correc-Tone Recording in 1964 / 65 (her It's Love is the last record for that label). The song was co-written by George Clinton and Funkadelic also released it in 1970.
