1 - Aktion - Groove The Funk
Chanson titre de leur premier album en 1975, le groupe de nigérien fût de retour en 1977 avec Celebration. Les deux sont paruis avec Clover Sound. Ces deux disques ont été réédité avec PMG en Autriche en 2016 et 2017.
Title song from their first album in 1975, the Nigerian group returned in 1977 with Celebration. Both were released with the Clover Sound label. These two records were reissued with PMG in Austria in 2016 and 2017.
2 - Balla Et Ses Balladins - Samba (1972)
Orchestre formé en Guinée-Conakry en 1962 à partir de la scission de l'Orchestre National du Syli. Balla Onivogui (trompette), en était le chef d'orchestre, mais Pivi Moriba (trombone) fut désigné leur meneur au début des années 1970, d'où le groupe Pivi Et Ses Baladins. Balla a été réintégré sur ordre du Président Ahmed Sékou Touré. Leur premier album en 1967 est sorti sous le nom de Jardin De Guinée.
Orchestra formed in Guinea-Conakry in 1962 from the split of the Syli Orchestre National. Balla Onivogui (trumpet), was the chef d'orchestre, though Pivi Moriba (trombone) was designated leader in the early 1970s, hence the group Pivi Et Les Baladins. Balla was reinstated upon the order of Pres. Ahmed Sékou Touré. Their first album in 1967 was released as Jardin De Guinée.

Formation funk originaire de Memphis, Tennessee, démarrant sa carrière au début des années 70 sous le nom d'Ebony Web avec les membres fondateurs Perry Michael Allen, Ray Griffin, Robert Thomas et Terry Royce Johnson. Au milieu des années 70, ils se séparèrent. Avec de nouveaux membres, le groupe réapparaît sous le nom d'Ebonee Webb et connaît du succès en Afrique, au Canada et au Japon. À la fin des années 70, ils ont réalisé deux albums sortis uniquement au Japon. Trois des membres originaux ont formé le groupe Kilo. Finalement, au début des années 80, ils ont réalisé deux albums de boogie funk américain acclamés avec Capitol.

Il s'agit de la première parution de l'étiquette française Alabaz en 1994, celle-ci s'est éteinte en 1997 après trois autres sorties. Fabe qui est présent sur la chanson s'est vu manquer de respect en 1995 à Taratata par Nagui et Robert Charlebois. Le rapper était toutefois à prendre avec des pincettes.

Ceci a été écrit par Eric Kagna, un chanteur / compositeur de Vancouver, et le pont instrumental a été fourni par Bryan Adams. Le crédit officiel de l’auteur-compositeur est partagé à parts égales entre les deux. Le chanteur canadien n'a sorti sa version de la chanson qu'en 1983. Elle a été enregistrée pour la première fois par Ian Lloyd (le chanteur principal de Stories qui a repris Brother Louie de Hot Chocolate) en 1980, sur son album Third Wave Civilization.
