2 - Take Five - Stop At The Red Light (1976)
Côté B de Shock Me pour cette formation disco féminine. La chanson ici présente a un agréable rythme à la Average White Band sans être trop uptempo, c'est plutôt funk que disco si l'on compare à leurs deux autres simples de 1977 et 1978. Emily Woods a sorti son album solo en 1979.

Volume One de Goldmine Supply en 2001, Quantic – The World's Rarest Funk 45s (Volume Two) en 2007 par Jazzman, Gonna Have A Funcky Funcky Party en 2008 de P-Vine en plus d'avoir eu une réédition 7'' chez Funk45.

4 - Ultrafunk - Buffalo Soldier (1975)
Groupe anglais qui était avec l'étiquette Contempo de John Abbey, le fondateur du magazine Blues and Soul. Ils était la formation maison pour les différents artistes, un peu comme les Funk Brothers avec Motown. Le disque est sorti en 1976 au Japon en tant que Kung Fu Man.
English group that was with the Contempo label, it was active from 1973 to 1978, of John Abbey, the founder of Blues and Soul magazine. They were the house band for the various artists, a bit like the Funk Brothers with Motown. The LP was released in 1976 in Japan as Kung Fu Man.
5 - Valerie Lagrange – Si Ma Chanson Pouvait (1977)
Je dépose ici la version reggae, il existe aussi une version folk. C'est sous l'influence de son amant Jean-Louis Aubert (futur Téléphone) et son nouveau compagnon Ian Jelfs (Alice / Circus), elle forme un groupe à trois le temps de quelques concerts. Ils jouent des reprises de rock, du rhythm and blues, mais aussi le reggae de Bob Marley.
I'm posting the reggae version here, there is also a folk version. It was under the influence of her lover Jean-Louis Aubert (future Téléphone) and her new companion Ian Jelfs (Alice / Circus), she formed a three-piece band for a few concerts. They played rock covers, rhythm and blues, but also Bob Marley's reggae.

Groupe hollandais qui a 6 albums dans les années 70, Pregnancy est le dernier en sortant en 1979 avec Killroy la division pop / rock de Telstar qui était plutôt dans le schlager. Ils ont cessé leurs activités cette même année, les membres restants sont devenus The Press.

Il était un acteur et chanteur iranien. Il a connu son premier succès en tant que chanteur de musique pop à l'âge de 18 ans et a continué à enregistrer d'autres albums populaires. He was an Iranian actor and singer. He had his first hit as a pop music singer at the age of 18 and went on to record other popular albums. He also worked as an artists and repertoire manager for CBS Records, but lost his job in 1979 when Islamic revolutionaries took over the offices. He fled his country in 1980, living in Europe before moving to Los Angeles in 1986.
