Tiré de son album éponyme avec Aware, une étiquette d'Atlanta, qui est son premier effort complet après quatre 45 tours entre 1969 et 1972. Après son 2e album solo en 1976, il s'est joint à temps plein l'année suivante au groupe The Spinners.

Trois 45 tours pour cette formation de Philadelphie, tous avec Virtue et celui-ci est le premier. Après avoir dissous le groupe The Virtues, Frank Virtue a poursuivi une carrière de réalisateur de disques et d'ingénieur du son. Il a nommé son studio Virtue Recording Studios.

Les membres se sont rencontrés à la Rhode Island School of Design où ils ont cotoyé Seth MacFarlane.
