1 - Stevie Wonder - Hey Love (1966)
Gary Clark Jr est passé en entrevue au Daily Show lundi dernier, il a dit, par erreur, que Stevie Wonder (qui collabore à What About the Children du 6e album JPEG Raw du musicien du Texas) est dans les 80 ans.. Il a plutôt 73 ans et il est né en mai, ce qui est confondant est que le prodige avait signé avec Tamla (de Motown) dès 11 ans et son premier album The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie est sorti alors qu'il avait 12 ans.

Émergeant de Kyuss (des pionniers du stoner rock), QOTSA ont conquis leur fan un à un jusqu'à avoir même un album qui a débuté au #1 du Billboard en 2013 avec Like Clockwork qui était leur 6e album. Pour Citer Dave Grohl de Foo Fighters (et Nirvana comme batteur) : "Quand ils montent sur scène, c'est le meilleur groupe du monde... mais pour la musicalité et en tant que musicien, vous regardez Queens Of The Stone Age et vous dites 'ce n'est pas juste, c'est quoi ce bordel ?'"

Le film, j'aurais voulu aimé ça davantage mais les points forts sont l'acteur principal et la musique. La réalisation est convenue et le rythme lent pour un film qui devrait nous faire vibrer beaucoup plus. D'ici à ce qu'il ait un film plus marquant sur la vie de cet artiste majeur, écouter à nouveau ses chansons : Get Up Stand Up, Could You Be Loved, No Woman No Cry, I Shot The Sheriff, Jamming et Sun Is Shining.
The film, I would have liked it more but the strong points are the main actor and the music. The direction is average and the pace slow for a film which should thrill us much more. Until there is a more significant film on the life of this major artist, listen to his songs again: Get Up Stand Up, Could You Be Loved, No Woman No Cry, I Shot The Sheriff, Jamming and Sun Is Shining.
