On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ce projet fusion a été fondé par les musiciens italiens James Senese et Franco Del Prete, suite à la dissolution de leur précédent groupe R&B The Showmen. Peu de temps après la sortie de leur premier album, le bassiste Tony Walmsley et le claviériste Mark Harris quittent le groupe pour rejoindre Il Rovescio della Medaglia.
This fusion project was founded by Italian musicians James Senese and Franco Del Prete, following the disbandment of their previous R&B group The Showmen. Shortly after the release of their debut album, bassist Tony Walmsley and keyboardist Mark Harris left the band to join Il Rovescio della Medaglia.

Pour son 19e album intitulé Slow Train Coming, Bob Dylan s'est allié Jerry Wexler (Aretha Franklin, Dr. John, Donny Hathaway, Wilson Pickett, King Curtis, Solomon Burke, Lou Johnson, Mongo Santamaria, Sam & Dave, Judy Clay, Allen Toussaint et David Fathead Newman), à la réalisation. Parmi les musiciens, nous retrouvons Barry Beckett (Traffic), Mark Knopfler de Dire Straits et les Muscle Shoals Horns.
