On March 3, 2023, it was the reissue of the album No Food Without Taste If By Hunger by The Good Samaritans with Analog Africa in the Analog Africa Limited Dance Edition series. The original is from 1982 with the now defunct Nigerian label CBO. This highlife music known as Edo Funk originated in Benin City, Nigeria. "The Good Samaritans" is the philosopher Okundaye's own Edo-Funk project, under which he has made four albums, all recorded at the Phonodisk Studio in Ijebu-Igbo east of Lagos with a 24 track. Okundaye, who played many instruments, hired the right musicians for each project and mixed it all himself, is known as the composer of many of Benin City's famous hits of the 80s. Analog Africa is a label based in Frankfurt, Germany, owned by Samy Ben Redjeb, releasing compilations with African and South American music mostly from the 70s and 80s. Osakpamwan Ohenhen was also part of Ohenhen & His Feelings and The Talents Of Benin.

Umiliani realized there was money to be made in music. In his diary, he writes: “I would like to compose music because I have the feeling that it could bring me pleasure in the future”.

Soul singer born in Meridian, Mississippi. In 1966, Wilson signed with manager Marc Gordon, who quickly secured his client an a cappella audition for Johnny Rivers. "The La La Peace Song", released in 1974, was a hit, although OC Smith recorded and released a version simultaneously, causing sales of Wilson's version to suffer.
