On April 11, 2023, over 2 years after King Von / Dayvon Daquan Bennett's death, a four-hour long documentary (on Patreon, the You Tube version is 3h30) titled King Von: Rap's First Serial Killer was re-released on Youtube by the filmmaker Trap Lore Ross, in which it was alleged that Bennett had been a serial killer who was involved in at least ten murders, including the murders of P5, Modell, Malcolm Stuckey and Gakirah "K.I." Barnes. Bennett had been acquitted for the murder of Stuckey while he was alive and was concluded by Chicago authorities to be responsible for the murder of Barnes in 2021. In addition to the ten murders he was alleged to be the perpetrator of, he was also documented as the mandator to several other gang-related murders. According to the documentary, Bennett's primary motive to commit murder initially was a result of gang disputes, but later were simply done for thrill. The documentary was praised by many, but was taken down from YouTube following backlash from family and fans of Bennett. The documentary was later re-uploaded on April 11.

On April 26, 2023, Pras of The Fugees (and also known for Ghetto Supastar fame) was found guilty of 10 counts by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) indicted Pras on May 10, 2019 for his role in an alleged criminal conspiracy with Malaysian financier Jho Low. The DOJ alleged that between June 2012 and November 2012, Michel assisted in the illegal transfer of approximately $865,000 from foreign entities to Barack Obama's presidential campaign in 2012. In June 2021, Pras was indicted by a major federal jury for leading a behind-the-scenes campaign to get the Trump administration to drop an investigation into Jho Low and investment firm 1MDB. As of 2021, due to the charges against him, Pras cannot travel abroad. In January 2022, The Fugees canceled their planned international reunion tour, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

On April 29, 2023, we sadly learned about the passing of composer, arranger, bandleader and jazz trombonist / keyboardist, Don Sebesky. He was born and died in the american state of New Jersey. Interviewed in 2010, he was asked about what he thought of his Giant Box album for CTI in 1973. He said he had mixed feelings about it. Firebird was a good track according to him, especially with the crossover between Stravinsky and the sound of John McLaughlin's. But he wasn't entirely happy with everything on the album. It didn't feel as organic to him in his thinking as other albums. At the time he arranged it, he was already heading in another direction. In his heart, he's a big band guy. He would have preferred to make a big band album only. But it was not considered sellable at the time. You have to remember that jazz-rock fusion was everywhere in 1973 and ready to take on even greater momentum in the 70s.

Le commandant Cobra, on ne l'a pas assez vu et c'était un méchant digne des pires vilains. Son histoire d'origine ne mérite pas un film complet mais un bon 15 minutes dans un film donné. La dynamique entre Destro et la Baronne vs le Commandant Cobra est à observer aussi. Bien qu'ils soient tous des méchants, il y a des tensions entre ceux-ci. Un des problèmes des comics books ou des séries télé est le manque de background pour les G.I. Joe, exception faite de Snake Eyes. Ben, pour un film, ça s'invente, il faut des héros tourmentés. Le but des films est évidemment de vendre des jouets mais il faut quand même un minimum de scénario comme que avec les films Transformers, ce n'était pas vraiment le cas. Alors, il faut des gros guns, des avions révisés et des tanks sur-performants.

Commander Cobra, we haven't seen enough of him and he was a bad guy worthy of the worst villains. His origin story deserves not a full movie but a good 15 minutes in any given film. The dynamic between Destro and the Baroness vs. Commander Cobra is also to be observed. Although they are all villains, there are tensions between them. One of the problems with the G.I. Joe comic books or TV animated series is the lack of background for G.I. Joe, except for Snake Eyes. Well, for a film, it's can be invented, you need tormented heroes to score with the box office. The purpose of the films is obviously to sell toys but it still requires a minimum of scenario as with the Transformers films, this was not really the case. So, you need big guns, overhauled planes and over-performing tanks.
