Black Lightning

On January 16, 2018, the television series Black Lightning made its debut on The CW. Krondon from Strong Arm Ready plays the role of Tobias Whale. Throughout the series, musically we can hear Isaac Hayes, Bobby Bland, Gil Scott-Heron, Kendrick Lamar, Al Green, Latimore, Billy Paul, Aretha Franklin, Charles Lloyd, Durand Jones, James Brown, J. Le 16 janvier 2018, la série télévisée Black Lightning faisait ses débuts à la chaîne The CW. Krondon du groupe Strong Arm Ready y joue le rôle de Tobias Whale. Soft Machine

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
