Bootie Brown

Born November 13, 1969, it is Bootie Brown's birthday. In 2020, it was rumored that the 4 members of The Pharcyde would reunite on wax after a 25-year hiatus. Speculation that the reunion would appear on Fatlip's next project quickly gained traction. The whispers were confirmed when Pharcyde's official Instagram page posted a story claiming that a group reunion was in the works. With Fatlip working on his project "Sccit & Doggy Present ... Torpor: Still Sleepin", his album is the most likely destination for reunion. Although a wax reunion has been cemented, an entire album has yet to be confirmed.

Avec Fatlip travaillant sur son projet "Sccit & Doggy Present... Torpor: Still Sleepin", son album est la destination la plus probable pour les retrouvailles. Bien qu'une réunion sur cire ait été cimentée, un album entier doit encore être confirmé.

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
