The RBX Files

On September 26, 1995, RBX released The RBX Files, his debut album. After appearing on The Chronic and Doggystyle, RBX had been identified as Death Row's next big star, but it wasn't the case: Dr. Dre and Suge Knight pushed back his debut album. The Narrator ended up leaving the Death Row and he released his album with Premeditated Records.

Le 26 septembre 1995, RBX sortait The RBX Files, son premier album. Après ses apparitions sur The Chronic et Doggystyle, RBX avait été identifié comme la prochaine grande vedette de Death Row, mais ce ne fut pas le cas: Dr. Dre et Suge Knight ont repoussé son premier album. The Narrator a fini par quitter Death Row et il a sorti son album avec Premeditated Records.

Soft Machine

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
