Small Pump

Born August 17, 2000, it is the birthday of the excellent Small Pump. His deep lyricism prompted him to lay Gucci Gang. In 2020 Little Pimp backed Lil Trump for president, they both have in common their love of limited vocabulary.

Né le 17 août 2000, c’est l’anniversaire de l’excellent Petite Pump. Son lyrisme profond l’a poussé à pondre Gucci Gang. En 2020, Little Pimp a appuyé Lil Trump à la présidence, ils ont tous deux en commun leur amour d’un vocabulaire limité.

Soft Machine

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
