3rd Bass - The Cactus Vidie/Yo

On July 1, 1991, the 3rd Bass trio released The Cactus Vidie/Yo. This is a collection of 3rd Bass music videos. The VHS tape, which was distributed by Columbia Music Video, contained music videos of the album's singles as well as short skits featuring Gilbert Gottfried that appeared between the selections. The "Wordz of Wisdom" and "Triple Stage Darkness" videos were not complete and only contained the first two verses of the song. The video was only released on VHS and is now out of print.

La cassette VHS, qui a été distribuée par Columbia Music Video, contenait des vidéoclips des simples de l'album ainsi que de courts sketchs mettant en vedette Gilbert Gottfried qui sont apparus entre les sélections. Chappelle’s Show

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart.
