Mr. Voodoo

On March 31, 1998, DJ Kensei released Cuts of the Times. Mr. Voodoo is present with Text (remix). His discography is made up of underground hip-hop classics between 1994 and 2004. Come Off Hard is his first solo single and in 1996 he continued with Lyrical Tactics. Charlemagne (not the radio guy) is the producer he works with the most, but in 2000 for Chryme Life and Lyrical Tactics II, The Alchemist provided the music. Chopped Herring Records released New York Straight Talk: The Elusive Demos 1994-1995 EP in 2015 and The Extra Demos in 2017. Peter Agoston interviewed Mr. Voodoo for TheHouseListPodcast.

Come Off Hard est son premier simple en solo, en 1996 il poursuit avec Lyrical Tactics. Charlemagne (pas celui qui fait de la radio) est le réalisateur avec qui il travaille le plus mais en 2000 pour Chryme Life et Lyrical Tactics II, c’est The Alchemist qui fournit la musique. Soft Machine

On August 26, 2023, Big Daddy Kane headlined a Hip Hop 50 event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. During the show, Kamanchi Sly from British group Hijack came on stage wearing a mask and simply stood in front of the cheering audience. Kane tolerated the interruption for a few minutes but ended up stopping the music to confront the agitator. Hijack was scheduled to perform after Big Daddy Kane. This was considered disrespectful by Hijack, which is why Sly invaded the stage. Ice-T signed  Hijack to his own Rhyme Syndicate label, they recorded and released the single "The Badman is Robbin'" (Rhyme Syndicate, 1989). The track reached number 56 on the UK Singles Chart. Hijack's debut album, The Horns of Jericho (Rhyme Syndicate, 1991), was recorded around the same time.
